How long have you been cooking?
I first learned to cook when I was about 2 years old and would help my mom and grandparents in the kitchen. My very first dish was scrambled eggs! I’ve been cooking professionally for about 7 years.
What made you get interested in cooking?
As a kid, I loved helping my grandparents in the kitchen and always had a love for food. My family traveled a lot when I was growing up which sparked an interest in trying different cuisines. Right out of college, I started working on sailboats and watching my head chefs work which fueled my desire to become a chef myself.
What is your best food memory?
My favorite food related memory is when I was working on a charter motor yacht in the Caribbean, when I caught and reeled in two 35lb wahoo. The captain fileted the fish on deck and I got to serve it to my guests that night. I felt such pride in catching and preparing the fish for dinner - it doesn’t get any fresher than that!
What is your favorite Greensbury product to cook?
I absolutely love the Atlantic salmon! My grandparents and I eat it at least once a week. My favorite recipe for it is this Miso Hot Honey Salmon Bowl!
What is your go-to recipe?
I enjoy making Mediterranean inspired dishes and love serving Greensbury Lamb chops with tzatziki sauce, tabbouleh, and Greek salad - I have these recipes in my digital cookbook!
