Sarah Mohrig

Sarah is a recipe developer and blogger who focuses on healing through holistic health. She started taking her health more seriously after being diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2017.  She lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband and children. 

How long have you been cooking?

I have been cooking seriously for about 15 years. I started taking interest at age 15.

What made you get interested in cooking?

I have always had an appreciation for good tasting food, but when I started having health issues, I cleaned up my diet quite a bit. This required me to cook more meals at home, and gave me a passion to make healthy meals that are also delicious.

What is your best food memory?

Growing up, my best friend was Italian. Her parents were from Italy and both amazing cooks. They opened up a few restaurants in Michigan, where we live now. I would always go to her house and be so in awe of how delicious the food was. I had never experienced food that good before, and I used to watch her mom cook and ask for the recipes. This is where my love for cooking began.

What is your favorite Greensbury product to cook?

I love cooking with the bison and fajita steak.

What is your go-to recipe?

My go-to recipe usually involves some type of Greensbury product along with veggies & rice. There are so many ways to season veggies & rice.
