Our co-founder and Chairman, Brad, loves to make these burgers with his family and we think they will quickly become a favorite in your house too. These burgers are quick and easy to make and an added bonus is that this is the perfect recipe to get the kids involved in the preparation. Dicing the vegetables is a good way to introduce knife skills and smaller hands can mix everything together and form the patties. Something to get the whole family involved!
You'll notice all the spices are listed as "to taste." Use this as an opportunity to experiment with the kids and come up with the flavor combination that they will love.

Ingredients
-
1lb organic ground turkey
-
1lb pasture-fed ground chicken
-
4 - 4oz pork sausages (case removed)
1/3 cup carrots (diced)
1/3 cup celery (diced)
1/3 cup zucchini (diced)
1/3 cup mushrooms (diced)
1/2 tsp cumin (or to taste)
1/2 tsp paprika (or to taste)
1 tsp apple cider vinegar (or to taste)
1 tsp fish sauce (or to taste)
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Directions
Combine all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
For into burger patties the size you prefer (we like to make them about 1/3 of a pound each)
Heat a skillet over medium-heat and cook for 6-7 minutes per side (Pro Tip: you don't want to over-crowd the skillet so depending on the size of your burgers and skillet, you may have to make in batches)
Cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Remove from skillet and rest for 6-8 minutes before serving.
For serving
Serve with mixed green salad, roasted vegetables, baked sweet potatoes or your favorite side.
Enjoy!
