Chili Lime Chicken Wings

Looking for a super easy chicken wing recipe that's full of flavors the entire family will enjoy? This recipe from Hayley Lucero (@realfoodwithaltitude) works great in either the air fryer or the oven and is as healthy as it is delicious!

Ingredients
-
1 lbs. organic free-range chicken wings
1/2 cup cashews
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 lime juiced
Salt and pepper
Avocado oil (or olive oil)
Directions
Pat chicken wings completely dry.
Air Fryer Method
Add chicken wings to the air fryer, spray with avocado oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook in air fryer at 400° for 10 minutes.
Once the wings are cooked most of the way through (after about 10 minutes), put wings in a bowl and pour on some of the wing sauce (see below for how to make the wing sauce). Be sure to reserve some of the sauce for dipping later. Toss the wings until fully coated.
Place wings back in the air fryer for another 5 minutes.
Serve with the leftover dipping sauce and enjoy!
Oven Method
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Line a sheet tray with parchment paper and spread out the wings on the tray in one layer.
Spray the wings with avocado oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook in the oven for 10 minutes.

Wing Sauce Preparation
While the wings are cooking, combine the rest of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
