Rated 3.8 stars by 95 users
Even though pork chops aren't the most common BBQ protein, this Carolina-inspired BBQ sauce will give the perfect tang and twist to your pork chops. It comes together easily with a few ingredients and in no time! Thanks to @pollygrill17 for this perfect dinner inspiration.

Ingredients
-
4 boneless thick-cut pork chops (about 8 oz each)
- 2 Teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 Cup Traeger Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce
Directions
When ready to cook, set the grill temperature to 375°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
Pat the chops very dry with a paper towel. Season on all sides with the salt and pepper.
Insert the probe horizontally into the thickest part of a pork chop. Place the chops directly on the lowest grill grate. Close the lid and cook until the internal temperature reaches 110°F, 12-15 minutes. Flip the chops and brush the top and sides with the Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce. Close the lid and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 135°F, 8-10 minutes more. Flip the chops once more, brush the top and sides with more Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce, and grill until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, another 5-7 minutes.
Remove the pork chops from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Recipe Note
If you can’t get your hands on the real deal, you can whip up your own Liquid Gold BBQ sauce by mixing together: yellow mustard, spicy brown mustard, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, honey, Traeger Hot Sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red pepper, salt and pepper.
