Have picky eaters at home? Get some Greensbury organic applewood bacon delivered straight to your door to add to the delicata squash and they'll eat it right up.
1 Delicata squash
Avocado oil or olive oil
Sea salt
Garlic powder
Greensbury Organic Applewood Smoked Bacon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Rinse squash and chop off ends.
Slice down the middle and scoop out insides with a spoon (you can throw away the insides)
Slice into half-moons.
Place parchment paper on a sheet tray, arrange half-moons on the tray, lightly coat with avocado (or olive) oil, sprinkle with sea salt and garlic powder.
Add a couple strips of bacon across the top.
Roast for 25-40 minutes until you get your preferred crispiness!
Enjoy as the perfect side dish and save leftovers for salads!!
