Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings
Sweet and spicy is a combination that always works together and this chicken wings recipe from Whole30 Coach Hayley Lucero is another example.
Plus, the recipe is Whole30 and paleo compliant so you don't have to feel guilty about how great it tastes!
1 lb. organic chicken wings
1/4 cup coconut amino
1 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. avocado oil
1 tsp. sriracha
1 tsp. tahini
1 Tbsp. almond butter
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ginger powder
Salt and pepper
Pat chicken wings completely dry. Then put in an air fryer and spray with avocado oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook at 400°F for about 10 minutes.
While the wings are cooking, combine the rest of the ingredients into a blender and blend together. If you are using honey or maple syrup, you can skip this step and just whisk it together.
Once wings are cooked most of the way through, put them in a bowl and pour 3/4 of the sauce on top of them. Reserve the rest of the sauce for dipping. Be sure the wings are fully coated.
Place coated chicken wings back in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes.
Serve with dipping sauce and enjoy!
If you don't have an air fryer then you can cook in a 400°F oven and follow all the same steps.
